Anglo-Saxon Honey Oat Cakes

We have been writing our own instructions this week.

Over the past two weeks we have been looking at different types of instructional texts.  We have focused on recipes and linked this to our history this term by looking at some of the food that the Anglo-Saxons would have eaten. 

We have been busy creating our own recipe cards to bring home and have also taken it in turns to actually create our own honey most cakes by following our own recipes. 

Each group will have a chance to cook this week and get to try the honey oat cakes that they made.
