Our last week of the half term!

What a fantastic first half term we have had in the Crocodiles class!

Wow - can you believe it is nearly half term?!

I am so proud of my fantastic Crocodiles for working so hard still - they have settled brilliantly and have been stars this half term, working well in their new subjects and adapting to the change of a new year.

In our last week, we are becoming authors and will be writing our own stories based on adapting the class story from last week - watch this space as they have already written some amazing opening sentences this morning.

Our foundation subject focus this week is History - it would be great to have some photos or information on your family tree - grandparents, parents and siblings, to help us create our own in school. We will be looking at timelines, and on Friday, we will be celebrating Black History Month, learning about Mary Seacole and herbal medicines.

Parents Evening this week - I look forward to speaking with you all and catching up on the first half term.

Enjoy your half term - try to squeeze in  a bit of reading as this will really help with phonics, reading and English in class.

After half term, our topic will be London's Burning - The Great Fire of London.

Enjoy your week,

Miss H
