World Book Day!

Wow, what amazing costumes the Crocodile's are wearing today!

We have had a lovely day celebrating World Book Day in our class today - and wow you have all been very creative in their costumes! From Betty O'Barley, to Goldilocks, Moana, and Marshall, astronauts, Harry Potter's and Red Riding Hoods and Snail and the Whales!

Across KS1, we did some moving between classes, listening to different stories and taking part in activities. In the Crocodile's class, we made our own snail trail messages like Snail and the Whale, using candles and water colours. In Dolphins, the children made their own recipes for George's marvellous medicine, and in the Elephants class, the children made their own ladybirds, writing on these the noises that the ladybird would have heard. Ask your child what class they went to and what they enjoyed best!

This afternoon, we popped in to the Flamingo's class to share stories with the older children, taking it in turns to read with each other.

Don't forget to keep reading at home, tracking for the readathon and use your voucher coming home today.

Have fun!
