The children have had a fantastic start to year 3 and have been working extremely hard.

Our topic this term is Creeping through Caves, where we will be exploring the Stone Age through to the Bronze Age. We began by looking at cave paintings and creating our own animals using sticks instead of paint brushes. In writing, we will be creating some information texts about Stone Age artefacts, which the children will share with you later in the term. 

 The class are all very enthusiastic about their maths lessons where we have been looking at place value to 1000.
