The class made an amazing effort and everybody looked incredible! 

We also had a great time writing book reviews of some of our top reading recommendations.

The children had a great time learning new skills such as editing and adding text to make our adverts effective. We also wrote scripts containing all of our knowledge on the subject to make sure that the adverts were informative! They took turns helping to record and explore the various camera angles that would be best for capturing the optimal audio and video quality for their videos. The children all worked very hard and enjoyed themselves!

This was an adaptation of the book we started reading in class back in the Autumn term. We were very fortunate to be able to see Maz Evans, the author herself, perform in the show due to one of the regular cast being ill. Maz did a brilliant job and all the children seemed quite awe-struck by seeing her in real life! The children made it clear to all the adults that they had an excellent time and that they thought the show was incredibly funny. Despite the long coach journeys to and from London, all in all, it was a fun and enjoyable day out. The children were well-behaved and sensible for the entirety of the trip. They made us very proud and represented Beckers Green beautifully!

So far, we have had 2 children take part. We offer a weekly prize for the person with the highest score of a treat from Mrs Phillips box of sweets and allow them to be class legend for the day on Monday.

Times tables are the fundamentals to so much of the UKS2 curriculum, so it is really beneficial for the children to practice them as much as possible.

We looked at multiples last week, now we are beginning to explore factors and prime numbers. 

In our topic lessons, we will be using modroc to create our own sarcophagi, we have made our prototypes already, so now it is time to build and decorate the real thing. I will post some pictures of them afterwards for you all to see.
