The children spent time exploring the different areas and were also given a guided tour of the Rainforest Room. 

The tour guides were really impressed with the childrens' knowledge of biomes and really enjoyed listening to them share their facts and information we have been learning about in class. 

For some of our children, it was their first ever trip to London! The class were so well-behaved and every pupil left smiling. 

Now, we can all have a break!

Once we had evaluated other people's art, we looked at our own. All the children looked at their drawings of the Parthenon from two weeks ago and wrote something they liked, something they didn't and came up with a way/ways to improve it. This is just one of the many examples I saw of someone who already had a good drawing, but wanted to make it even better. This person decided that she wanted to make all the pillars reach the roof, add some detail to the front, and finally show the cracks and chips that the Parthenon has accumulated over time. It is clear to see that this person has achieved exactly what she wanted from her drawing. Great work!
