The children had lots of fun reading them to Crocodiles class and showing off all of their hard work.

The children had worked hard on these so in preparation for their performance, we discussed prosody and what feelings we wanted our audience to have. We looked at changing the tempo, emphasising certain words, changing our volume and pausing for effect. The children then went out to rehearse with a partner before coming back to class and reading their poem to everyone. 

I have posted this poem as I feel they have created a really positive vibe for autumn - the delivery was also very impressive.
