This week we evaluated some pieces of art, we looked at drawings of the Parthenon and discussed things we liked, things we didn't like and came up with ways in which these drawings could be improved. Once we had evaluated other people's art, we looked at our own. All the children looked at their drawings of the Parthenon from two weeks ago and wrote something they liked, something they didn't and came up with a way/ways to improve it. This is just one of the many examples I saw of someone who already had a good drawing, but wanted to make it even better. This person decided that she wanted to make all the pillars reach the roof, add some detail to the front, and finally show the cracks and chips that the Parthenon has accumulated over time. It is clear to see that this person has achieved exactly what she wanted from her drawing. Great work!
