Another fabulous half-term. We have really enjoyed our topic 'Come fly with me' Lots of great learning taking place.

In literacy this week the children have learnt about similes and had a go abusing them in their own poems about animals.

Maths we have been doing some recapping and some assessment.

Our foundation focus has been science, and we have looked at animal groups and why they belong to these groups. Reptiles/amphibians/fish/birds/mammals. We also learnt more about the 5 senses and parts of the human body.

In RE we have done more work on the Easter story and why it is an important festival for Christians.
