When we got back to the classroom we discussed where the river starts and ends, following its route from Braintree to Maldon. The children were able to use vocabulary such as meanders, mouth, tributary, fast flowing and were able to identify where it changes it name to the River Pant.  We all had a great afternoon and the children represented our school beautifully.  Well done Flamingos!
