Hippo Class have been hard at work publishing a newspaper report. As part of our writing cycle, we have looked at how a newspaper is structured, the features of the writing (including how to punctuate speech) and then written our own. 

It just so happened that an Anglo-Saxon helmet was found on our field a few days prior, so it was perfect timing to inform the Braintree District of our discovery. We included all our new grammatical understanding and worked hard to join-up our handwriting.

We are very proud of our learning and it will be on display in our classroom for our grown-ups to see during learner conferences.
