In our Geography lessons this week, we have learnt that India is in the continent of Asia and surrounded by the Indian Ocean. We used maps and globes to find Asia and then India. Zooming in further on Google Earth, we found Chembakolli, a small Indian village. We looked at aerial photographs and found physical and human features and became detectives to label these.

Later on, we learnt about school life - and wow how different it is to our day in Beckers Green, from travelling, to lunch to lessons!

Today we have explored housing in Chembakolli - we learnt about the style and layouts and compared to our homes in Braintree.

In English, we have been exploring grammar skills linked to when we write our non chronological reports, we had a fun lesson on Facts and Opinions, with some animated discussions linked to what they were:
