We have started our new term here in Jaguars and everyone is settling in.

Our new topic for this term is Crime and Punishment. We will be learning how crimes and punishments differ in a range of different time periods. The main time periods we will be looking at are:

Anglo-Saxon Period (410 – 1066) 

Tudor Period (1485 – 1603) 

Victorians (1837 – 1901)  

Modern day (1901 – modern day)

Within this we will be looking at The Gunpowder Plot and writing a diary from the perspective of Guy Fawkes. We will also be studying Oliver and looking at the themes of Crime and Punishment which occur in this. 

We have Outdoor Learning on Mondays and PE on Thursdays. 

Homework each week will be maths which can be found online at www.maths.co.uk - all log-ins should be stuck in at the back of their reading diaries and spellings. Everybody should also be reading at home and practising times tables on TTRS.
