We Saved the Copse
Persuasive writing mission accomplished
The children have been busy persuading Mr Ingram not to cut down our beloved copse. He wanted to build roads, houses and profit from the land!
Thankfully, the children have written to him. They included loads of adjectives, facts and addressed him in the second person. Some children even managed to add in a rhetorical question!
We called a meeting and he heard our point of view. Luckily, he has changed his mind. He has agreed to build bat and bird boxes rather than get out the concrete.
