This week we have started with History, learning all about John Ray, the famous botanist who was born in Black Notley. He really was a clever man, developing the classification scheme for animals, the terms pollen and petal and studied the life cycle of the butterfly - we couldn't believe how much he had done - a clever clogs! This learning will continue next week.
