Taking our learning outside...
As you know, we are involved in our exciting outdoor learning research project which sees our class have one copse session a week and at least one hours worth of curriculum based learning outside a week. Today we went outside for our English lesson, with a focus on writing in the third person.
Today we went on a third person scavenger hunt in teams. Pegged around the playground were sentences written in the third person, and the challenge was to read them, then go and find the picture that matched and then have a go at orally rehearsing the sentence, prior to writing it - Miss Hatchman was the capital letter Queen and the full stop fairy, so we had to use them!
Once they were all found, matched and recorded, we took it in turns to act out a sentence and we had to then guess and record the sentence, to see if we were right or not!
