We’ve had a busy and exciting week full of learning and creativity!

 In English, we’ve been working hard on writing sentences using the conjunction "and". The children have enjoyed joining ideas together to make their writing more interesting.

In Maths, our focus has been on adding numbers, and everyone has been practising using different strategies to solve problems.

In Science, we’ve been learning about how to stay healthy. On Friday, we talked about ways to stay active and what we do to keep our bodies moving. We even joined in with a PE with Joe session, which was lots of fun!

We’ve also started our Art project this week. We found out about the artists, Pablo Picasso and Michaelangelo. The children are excited to be working towards making a clay sculpture of themselves next Friday – we can’t wait to see their creations!
