ATHENS VS SPARTA

Welcome back! I hope you all had a great half-term and managed to get some rest. Hopefully, this half-term will not be as disrupted by Covid-19 as the last.

Our topic is still Ancient Greece and our next writing outcome is 'Athens vs Sparta' where the children will be using comparative conjunctions to compare different aspects of life within the two City-States of Athens and Sparta during the time of Ancient Greece. All the children are looking forward to our 'Ancient Greek' day which will be taking place on Monday where the 'History off the page' organisation will be coming into the school.

We are going to be focusing on mainly fractions this half-term in maths where the children will be: finding equivalents; ordering and comparing; adding and subtracting and multiply and dividing.

A reminder that homework is set on Teams each week on a Friday and is expected to be handed back in the following Thursday,
