This week in school we have been celebrating Guinea Pig Awareness week. We started with an assembly on Monday - with two VIP visitors - Biscuit and Oreo popping in!

We learnt that the focus for GPAW this year is Care, Comfort and Companionship and heard about different ways we can offer these to our guinea pigs in school and to those lucky enough to have them at home! 

We took part in a Guinea Pig Quiz - did you know Guinea pigs teeth never stop growing? Did you know there are 15 different breeds of guinea pigs? Did you know Guineas pigs are not actually related to pigs?

Some classes have been lucky enough to have Biscuit and Oreo visit too!
