Welcome back!

Welcome back to the start of a brand-new term. We are excited to begin our new geography topic, Poles Apart.

Throughout this topic, we will be learning about famous explorers and discovering what life is like in cold climates. We will be comparing polar regions with warmer climates, including deserts, and learning about the importance of the Equator and how it affects climate around the world.

This week, we have begun exploring non-fiction writing. The children are preparing to write their own non-fiction pieces about Arctic animals, focusing on facts, features and clear organisation.

PE reminder:
Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Please ensure children come to school with a full PE kit and that earrings are removed on these days.
