Tinkercad is an online programme that can be used to create objects that can then be printed out on a 3D printer. We started by looking at the basics;

- how to move objects

- how to resize and change the colour of objects

- how to combine two objects

- how to create 'holes' in objects

Then we used all our knowledge to create 3D buildings. The results were brilliant! I was particularly impressed with the little details the children added to their designs. We did ask Mrs Smyth if we could have a 3D printer to try printing out our designs but she said no!
