Last term our topic in Jaguars Class was Crime and Punishment, We learnt about how the crimes and punishments have changed throughout time; looking specifically at the Anglo-Saxons, Tudors and Victorians. We wrote diary entries, setting descriptions, persuasive speeches and news reports - they were all brilliant. We used the book Holes, by Louis Sachar, alongside this topic.
Our other focus of the term was on vocabulary. Mrs Westwood and Mrs Carvalho taught us lots about choosing the 'correct' word to really depict what we are trying to say... or write.
We managed a whole term in school, with rows of tables, mask-wearing teachers, lunches in class and a LOT of hand-washing, but we made it through together. Go Team Jaguars!
