We have had a great start to the summer term. The children have settled back in well and we began the topic by learning all about John Ray, a botanist from the local area.

We also found out about David Attenborough and his important work to do with conservation.

We were also very lucky to be able to send 5 children to an eco event. They had to do a short presentation in a bid to win £150 for the school. They did a super job and were brilliant ambassadors for the school. The presentation was about the importance of birds in the environment and we will be spending the money on bird feeders and nesting boxes for the copse and garden area.
